Where And How You Can Work
Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we're focusing on Mexico City, Mexico, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 6-month engagement, working full-time hours.

What You'd Be Doing In This Role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On

  • Creating evergreen cultural content optimized for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts using a phone-first, organic style.
  • Owning post-production: sound design, color, captions, and motion graphics—using Canva and other tools.
  • Spotting and jumping on memes, viral sounds, and trends, and sharing creative ways Canva can join in.
  • Leveraging Canva's AI and editing hacks to deliver high-quality content at speed.
  • Collaborating with social and design teams to ensure consistent tone and look across content.
  • Reacting to real-time moments by capturing, stitching, and remixing content for community engagement.

You're probably a match if

  • You have 3+ years of experience creating and editing short-form content for social with proven ability to craft content that performs.
  • You're fluent in framing, pacing, and storytelling—hooking viewers in seconds.
  • You have a sharp, creative eye and know how to sound design, caption, and deliver thumb-stopping edits.
  • You understand platform behaviours and social culture deeply, and you're always ahead of trends.
  • You're curious, hands-on, and comfortable testing and evolving creative ideas.
  • You communicate fluently in English—both written and spoken—with the ability to collaborate confidently across global teams.
  • On-set experience capturing BTS content is a plus

About The Team
You'll be part of our LATAM Marketing team, working closely with a crew of creatives, strategists, and community leads who are passionate about creating culturally resonant content. We experiment, move fast, and create with heart to elevate Canva's voice in the region.
