The Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management ecosystem. Position And Business Overview
BlackRock is seeking an experienced multi-asset portfolio manager ("PM") to join our MASS investment team in Mexico City, where they will be responsible for managing the Latin America models book. This book consists of multi-asset model portfolios customized and localized for institutional and wealth clients across Latin America, bringing together investment input from multiple global investment teams.

The successful candidate will work closely with the business strategy team to create investable models for distribution externally and for internal implementation. They will actively engage with global research teams to source investment IP, and with distribution partners to commercialize the book.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and investment skills required to systematize the investment process to deliver consistent outcomes across a fast-growing book, and the ability to work flexibly with partners across MASS and BlackRock.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, monitor, and rebalance model portfolios, leveraging MASS models infrastructure and multi-asset investment process to deliver tailored investment solutions across Latin America., ensuring alignment with parent model updates and client-directed changes.
• Monitor and analyze performance attribution and investment risk, ensuring transparent and consistent portfolio outcomes.
• Incorporate local regulatory and compliance constraints into all aspects of portfolio design and implementation.
• Collaborate with investment research, iShares, and manager research teams to evaluate and enhance product offerings for the region.
• Partner with technology teams to evolve and automate PM tools and processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Represent MASS in client and prospect meetings, articulating strategy, current positioning, and performance results with clarity and credibility.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree essential; postgraduate degree or CFA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in portfolio management, asset allocation, and multi-asset investment strategies using a variety of investable assets including ETFs and mutual funds.
• Knowledge of Latin American financial markets across asset classes and local regulatory environments.
• Hands-on execution capability with a demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end investment processes independently.
• Technical expertise, including programming proficiency (Python preferred) and a track record of developing tools or processes to improve efficiency and decision-making. Knowledge of BlackRock's Aladdin portfolio management software is desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish.
• Creative thinker with the ability to design and improve investment frameworks and models.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to operate effectively across global and regional teams.
• High integrity, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
