Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of purchasing plans based on sales forecasts and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with senior buyers to analyze market trends and supplier performance
  • Support the procurement process by placing orders and monitoring delivery schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and inventory status
  • Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory needs and product availability
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
     Required and Preferred Qualifications

    Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for data analysis
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes

  • Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle
  • Familiarity with demand forecasting and planning tools
  • Knowledge of supplier relationship management.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment
