Position: Operations Manager

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST

Location: Remote (LATAM)

Salary: USD $3,000-$4,000/month (contractor). Up to $4,500 + profit-sharing potential for exceptional candidates. (The final offer is at the client's discretion and depends on the candidate's interview result, skills, and experience.)

About The Role
This company is a fast-growing e-commerce company that develops, manufactures, and sells a range of consumer products across categories, including pool & spa, household cleaning, marine care, and cosmetics.

We're seeking an Operations Manager to help build and scale our systems as we grow to $10M in annual revenue over the next five years by adding new products and channels. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic and financial thinking, ideal for a self-directed operator who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

You'll work directly with the Founder to improve operational efficiency, manage supply chain and logistics, coordinate product development and launch, and build systems that support sustainable growth. We're looking for someone who can think critically, anticipate problems, design solutions, and execute.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain operations, including inventory forecasting, order fulfillment, and logistics with suppliers in the US and China + Track key metrics (lead times, landed costs, freight rates) and propose improvements tied to P&L outcomes
• Assist in new product development, communicate product requirements, and request samples from suppliers. Evaluate packaging options + and coordinate with graphic designers
• Assist in product launch planning and execution, ensuring successful rollouts of 10-15 new products each year
• Research and evaluate opportunities to expand into new sales channels and marketplaces. Include projections of estimated costs and revenue returns
• Continuous learning & AI adoption to assist with research, analysis, streamline workflows, and improve performance. Stay current on tools and practices that increase speed and our competitive capabilities
• Lead end-to-end execution of key operational projects by building more effective systems and processes for supply chain management and daily operations
• Provide regular reporting and recommendations for improvement to the founder on key business metrics
• Coordinate, collaborate, and manage VA staff (currently one person)

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree preferred — ideally in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Demonstrates a strong commitment and enthusiasm for learning, along with a growth mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• 3-5 years Amazon operations experience (hands-on).

• Must have worked within the Amazon ecosystem and understand Seller Central functions, FBA workflows, and overall operational logic.

• Direct experience managing shipments, listings, or support cases is ideal, but not mandatory, if they've operated within Amazon's systems before.

• Supply-chain management for consumer packaged goods.

• Demonstrated ability to manage reorders, create POs, track shipments, coordinate with suppliers and 3PLs, and keep inventory levels within a specified range. Must be comfortable monitoring lead times and landed costs. Experience with importing goods into the US + US based shipping/logistics.

• Strong Fluent English communication (spoken and written).

• Capable of following complex discussions during meetings and summarizing next steps clearly in writing.

• Project coordination / project-management competence.

• Able to keep multiple product-development projects organized using tools like Asana or ClickUp, follow up with designers and suppliers, and close open loops reliably.

Preferred

• SOP drafting and publishing in Asana or similar.
• SKU-level margin awareness (COGS, FBA fees, advertising impact).
• Light oversight of a VA (checklists, QC, escalation).
• Experience across other marketplaces (Walmart, Shopify, TikTok Shop).
• Intermediate skill in Google Sheets or SoStocked, comfort with reporting dashboards.
• Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate research or documentation.
