About the Role

Orchata is looking for a self-motivated and analytical Operations Manager with excellent organization skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, successful startup environment.

As Ops Manager you will be responsible for organizing the stock of our warehouses and the general overview of it. You'll be in charge of managing the store stocs, inventary, people and deliveries from suppliers and to customers with an emphasis on quickness.


We are looking for a person with experience managing warehouses and inventory, while also having a keen eye or organization and analysis. We don't want you to just manage this warehouse, but make it the most efficient and well organized warehouse in the world. -we want all massive retailers to realize how they've been doing it wrong all along-

What You'll Do

  • Maintain all receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

  • Ensure that we have all deliveries done on time. 

  • Organize inventory replenishment so that there are always items on stock when needed

  • Constantly analyze procedures and methods to increase efficiency

  • Organize the whole warehouse to be focused on reducing delivery time

  • Keep a detailed inventory count

  • Keep financial records by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiate actions to reduce cost.

What the Candidate Will Need

  • 6+ years of experience

  • A Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience

Required skills

  • Be extremely metric oriented

  • Have organization skills that are immaculate

  • Know the leading warehouse operations methods and best practices -with a little of willingness to break those to create a new and better method-

  • Can supervise complex systems and procedures while also understanding how to optimize them

  • Has knowledge of how to do short-term deliveries

  • Can do inventory control & management

Extra magic points if you have

  • Previous experience working on early stage startups, e-commerce platforms or SaaS.
