Role Summary

Avahi is seeking a AWS DevOps Engineer to join our passionate and skilled team. This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive the architecture, implementation, and management of AWS infrastructure, migration, modernization, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical landscape, optimizing project delivery processes, and contributing to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and efficient AWS infrastructure.
• Assist with end-to-end AWS migration initiatives, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to modernized cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply DevOps best practices, automation strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to system and application deployment strategies for high availability, fault tolerance, and performance.
• Help maintain and improve internal processes and workflows for efficient project delivery, ensuring streamlined collaboration between development, operations, and other teams.
• Implement and manage containerization solutions using Kubernetes and Docker for application deployment and scalability.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI to automate the software delivery pipeline and ensure continuous integration and deployment.
• Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to ensure reliable, secure, efficient, and cost-effective infrastructure.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in the field of Data, ML, and AI, and leverage this knowledge to enhance our technical solutions.
• Communicate clearly with team members, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• AWS Professional and specialty certifications a huge plus
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, ECS etc.
• Experience supporting AWS migration and modernization projects.
• Experience in DevOps practices and tools, with experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience with related tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices.
• Exposure to Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
