RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Gestionar la implementación, evaluación y seguimiento de las acciones del sistema de mejora continua.
  • Desarrollar e impartir capacitaciones del sistema de mejora continua.
  • Soportar la generación y/o cambio de procesos y documentos para optimizar la productividad y/o generar ahorros.
  • Interactuar con todas las áreas y niveles para impulsar iniciativas que sumen al cumplimiento de objetivos financieros, operativos y estratégicos.
  • Brindar soporte en auditorías internas y externas.
  • Implementar actividades relacionadas con certificaciones aplicables al sitio (IATF, ISO 22000, RC14001, etc.).

  • Educación: Ingeniería Química, Ingeniería en Plásticos, Ingeniería Industrial o carreras afines (Obligatorio).
  • Experiencia: 2 años en industria manufacturera del sector químico y/o plástico (Obligatorio). Experiencia en proyectos y/o implementación de mejora continua (Obligatorio).
  • Idiomas: Inglés Intermedio (Obligatorio).
  • Competencias Tecnológicas: Manejo de paquetería Office, Minitab / Minitab Engage, VISIO (Opcional), Thinkcell, plataformas de diseño gráfico, software para sistemas de gestión de calidad.
  • Competencias Técnicas: Procesos de manufactura de transformación, metodologías de mejora continua y gestión de proyectos (DMAIC, PDCA, KAIZEN, 6S, POKAYOKE, etc.), análisis estadístico.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams within operations and supply chain. Project examples include inventory deployment optimization, global category negotiation strategies, reduction of slow moving/ nonworking inventory, predictive and preventative maintenance implementation, and demand forecasting and supply fulfillment.
  • Make recommendations to Management based on business case, leading best practices, and analysis.
  • Assist in the creation of world class internal processes in areas such as strategic supplier management, contract management, operations and operations planning, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Interface with Operational Excellence and all areas of the global business units to insure improvements are implemented and sustained.
  • Identify and develop key operational excellence metrics and measures to facilitate performance improvements.
  • Interact with Senior Management, have exposure to the Company's most critical initiatives, build relationships with other high potential employees across the globe and make a difference in Avient's future success.
  • Gain an understanding of the various Avient businesses from a financial, operational and strategic standpoint. This position is intended to be a stepping stone for a future key leadership role within the organization.

Physical/Environmental Demands
Requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time, talking and listening. Must be able to walk and use hands. Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
