Job Title: Technical Test Associate (TA1)

Location: Mexico City, MX

Technical Test Associate (TA1)

As a Technical Test Associate (TA1) at Lionbridge Games, you will be responsible for supporting the functional and technical testing of video games across multiple platforms. You'll execute test cases, identify bugs, and contribute to maintaining the highest quality standards in the early phases of your QA career. This entry-level role is ideal for passionate gamers looking to break into the game development industry through hands-on testing experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute predefined test cases accurately and efficiently under supervision
  • Document bugs clearly in the bug tracking system with attention to detail and completeness
  • Use exploratory testing techniques to uncover hidden issues and gameplay inconsistencies
  • Perform regression testing to verify bug resolution and system stability
  • Support test cycle execution across various platforms (PC, console, mobile)
  • Communicate effectively with team members and escalate issues appropriately
  • Follow test plans and instructions provided by senior testers or leads
  • Participate in team meetings, feedback sessions, and QA knowledge sharing

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Basic understanding of video games and gameplay mechanics across multiple platforms
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or basic bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction
  • Demonstrated passion for games and interest in quality assurance as a career path
  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing techniques
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
