Job Description:

Responsible of perform R&D Testing such as thermal performance testing, sound testing, vibration testing, electrical testing and others according national, american or european standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform R&D Testing such as thermal performance testing, sound testing, vibration testing, electrical testing and others according national, american or european standards

Perfrom thermal performance testing

Perfrom sound testing

Perfrom vibration testing

Perfrom electrical testing

Perfrom air flow and air pressure testing

Use of measurement instruments such as thermometers, flow meters, anemometers, DP Meters, sound meter, vernier and others

Elaborate testing reports

2. Delegate activities to the Testing Laboratory Leaders

Delegate activities such as mounting sensors, unit assembly, prototypes preparation

Supervise electrical, mechanical and hidraulic installations

3. Mounting, Testing and Assembly prototypes

Responsible for the units and prototypes installations at the laboratory

Responsible of the sensors position according each testing

4. Sensors calibration and care

Responsible to keep in calibration all the sensors needed for the testing

Responsible of keep updated and saved all the calibration certificates

Responsible of colaborate with Quality to schedule the calibration of the sensors

5. Research and Developments in Thermo-fluids

Carry out research in thermo-fluid related topics that applies to our Güntner product

Carry out research in new trends in natural and artificial refrigerants  

Carry out research in new technologies (Innovation, IoT, Industry 4.0, AI) applied to refrigeration systems or Güntner products

Support the Innovation and Concept Validation Department in calculations and activities related to thermo-fluid and refrigeration topics

Support to the Testing and Validation Department in the preparation and execution of the performance and sound testing and measurements

6. Safety and Environmental Compliance in the Laboratory Area

Assure that all the laboratory techicians works free of risk and stop operations and activities if needed

Identify and report working conditions that can affect the workers ergonomy

Report unsafe conditions at the laboratory area to EHS, R&D Manager and Plant Manager

Report unsafe acts at the laboratory area to EHS, R&D Manager and Plant Manager

Assure that all the personell use properly and complete the PPE in their working areas
