Mission description
The Quality Lead Aircraft Interiors & Composites is responsible for leading quality assurance and control activities across manufacturing, assembly, and repair operations for aircraft interior and composite components. This role ensures compliance with aviation regulatory standards (EASA Part 21G, FAA, AS9100, etc.) and drives continuous improvement in product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on quality professional with deep knowledge of composite materials, interior structures, and aircraft certification requirements, as well as proven experience leading teams in a high-precision, regulated environment.
Experience: Minimum 810 years of quality experience in aerospace manufacturing, with at least 5 years in aircraft interiors or composites. Strong knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations, AS9100, and quality system auditing. Hands-on experience with composite manufacturing techniques (prepreg layup, resin infusion, curing, fill & fair, painting, decoratives). Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, master samples, GD&T, and material/process specifications. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional quality teams. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. (Desired) Experience with ERP/MRP systems (M3) and digital quality tools. Familiarity with customer-specific requirements (e.g., Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, etc).
