  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for multiple legal entities, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial statements are prepared with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
  • Oversee comprehensive global accounting activities, including detailed account reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of management reporting schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards
  • Establish and enforce best practices for accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and industry regulations
  • Compliance and Controls
  • Ensure the timely and accurate filing of all compliance requirements for assigned legal entities, coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed
  • Design and enforce robust compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to local regulations, internal controls, and corporate governance standards
  • Develop, document, and continuously monitor internal control processes, proactively addressing any deficiencies and implementing corrective measures where necessary
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Provide visionary leadership to the accounting team, setting clear goals, delegating responsibilities, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Mentor and develop team members through targeted training programs, regular feedback sessions, and career development opportunities, ensuring the team is equipped to meet current and future organizational needs
  • Create a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, open communication, and professional growth for all team members
  • Process Improvement
  • Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies in accounting processes, employing data-driven analysis to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational performance
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating manual processes, streamlining workflows, and integrating advanced financial tools and technologies to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy
  • Benchmark internal processes against industry standards, ensuring the organization remains competitive and agile in its accounting practices
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to uncover trends, variances, and insights that support strategic decision-making and drive business performance
  • Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial reports and dashboards, aligning data with organizational priorities and stakeholder requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by presenting complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to support critical business initiatives
  • Stakeholder Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for accounting-related matters and ensuring the seamless flow of communication.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and external auditors, to resolve complex issues and align objectives with broader organizational goals.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, fostering trust and ensuring satisfaction with the accounting function's deliverables.
  • Qualifications and Experience
    :
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a management role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements; experience with IFRS is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools such as OneStream
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams
