Assistant Plant ManagerAssists in leading all aspects of a manufacturing plant. This includes safety, quality, production and cost in various departments within the plant. Developmental opportunity to prepare an individual to step into the role of Plant Director.

Role Responsibilities and Scope

All responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below outline

· Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines.

· Oversee production and maintenance plans.

· Responsible to lead safety culture and product quality control.

· Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, quality and shipping.

· Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills.

· Conduct plant meetings with staff and communicate daily operations with plant director.

· Responsible for setting, documenting and communicating food safety objectives and measures to achieve them.

· Attend corporate trainings and meetings.

· Communicate any deviations, issues or abnormalities with equipment, processes and products.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.


• At least 6 years' experience in production operations in any industry.


• Minimum 4 years' experience in managerial positions with direct manager's reports.


• Desirable experience in maintenance planning and operations.


• Intermediate-advanced knowledge in MS Excel.


• Fluent English is required.


• Required availability to work at Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León.
