Job Description:

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

As a Paralegal, Ethics & Compliance Investigations, you will have the opportunity to live your values and support the Ethics and Compliance organization in ensuring that 3M maintains its high standards of corporate integrity.

The impact you will make in this role

• participating in the interview and document collection process, following defined processes to collect documents.
• gathering information necessary for analysis and assessment of risk related to assigned matters.
• taking steps to facilitate compliance with policies/rules/regulations to protect 3M assets and information.
• organizing and tracking matter files and other information.
• updating cases and significant events quarterly in matter management systems; and
• developing skills to utilize research tools and resources to design and provide reports, such as case summaries, status updates, and expenses.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor´s degree concluded
• The ability to communicate fluently in verbal and written English, advance level.
• Three to five (3 to 5) years of experience as a paralegal and/or legal assistant experience in a private, public, or government environment.
• Three to five (3 to 5) years of experience with compliance investigations and other electronic document/data preservation.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Paralegal or legal assistant certification from and ABA-approved program
• Previous experience supporting financial or "white collar" investigations
• Previous experience leading fact investigations and conducting interviews
• Administrative, organizational, investigative, issue recognition, communication, time management, prioritization, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Work Location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the corporate office at Santa Fe, Mexico City.

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international
