Job Summary

Principal Consultant. We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday HCM Compensation and a strong understanding of Workday HCM. Experience in Devices/SPM Finance & Accounting is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance our HR systems and processes contributing to the companys success.

Responsibilities

  1. Leverage your expertise to recommend the best solution based on the clients requirements budget and timeframe with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.

  2. Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the clients unique business requirements at all stages of the project

  3. Independently execute on the assigned support activities with utmost quality and as per the milestone or resolution time

  4. Act as a Lead Consultant(s) in gathering business requirements designing and prototyping testing and implementing business solutions.

  5. Build or Configure the system to the customers expectations and requirements

  6. Lead the integration work stream driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to functionalities.

  7. Identify strategies risks and options recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client or functional requirements.

  8. Execute the day to day activities of Workday projects for a variety of clients including project reviews.

  9. Master the art of follow through. Frequently update your Engagement Manager and Service Delivery Manager on timeline tasks risks roles & responsibilities etc.

  10. Proactively keep yourself abreast of Workday updates and project changes. Seek out opportunities to further your skillset and professional growth. We love initiative

  11. Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts including providing support for shadow assignments

  12. Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share ones skills and learnings with others within the organizations

  13. Support business development activities such as identification proposal development and other pursuit activities.

  14. 5 plus years of Workday HCM implementation or post production support experience

  15. 5 plus years of HCM software experience in atleast 1 module. Multiple modules prefered.

  16. 5 years implementing / supporting functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software.

  17. Workday Certification is Mandatory

  18. Expertise in gathering business requirements designing and prototyping testing and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

  19. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Human Resources Human Resources Management HRIS Finance or related field.

  20. Strong communication presentation and analytical skills with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations.

  21. Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

  22. Be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies.

  23. Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  24. Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

  25. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

  26. Be able to effectively train and support team members in technical skills.

  27. Passion for exceptional customer service.

  28. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  29. Travel to customer site when needed.

  30. This position will be remote
