Collaborate with R&D in the defense of Prysmian products in the standards committees of the electric sector of Mexico.

Job responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to the sales team to develop, sell, and successfully implement product or service solutions that will meet customer's needs.

• Provide technical advice during large or difficult negotiations, or with customers who are of strategic importance to the organization, to meet their needs, solve issues, attend requests and specialized or technical inquiries.

• Pre-sales activities include analyzing customer's technical needs and suggesting solutions.

• Post-sales activities include resolving implementation problems and conducting user training.

• Analyze customers' technical needs and develop proposals outlining how the organization's products and services can meet these needs and be integrated and implemented with the customer's existing systems and equipment.

• Develop and deliver sales presentations and respond to more complex technical questions regarding the organization's product, system or service.

• Estimate the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the organization's products and services to meet customer needs.

• Work with local R&D, supply chain, manufacturing and finance team to optimize design, row material and costs.

• Develop and deliver training to educate customers on the features of the product or service they have purchased.

• Respond to more complex customer questions and troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after implementation.

• Support business team to prepare strategic plan, considering mid and long term view.

• Technical and commercial competitors monitoring to anticipate market change, also anticipating tech trends, new applications and costumer technological changes.

• Develop Spec-in plan and define NPD roadmap with R&D.

Requirements

•    Bachelor or Masters in Electric or Mechanical Engineering;

•    Desired experience in Telecom industry;

•    Desired experience with design, manufacturing and testing;

•    Flexibility and Dynamism;

•    Good relationship approach - good communication skills;

•    Team working capability;

•    Problem solving and target oriented - pragmatic to solve engineering problems;

•    Capability to set and to handle pragmatically the priorities;

•    Capacity to understand and conceptualizes complexity into concise frameworks;

•    Flexibility and capability to manage changes during the work;

•    Wish to quickly learn and get involved;

•    Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and in the use of the Web;

•    Advanced English, written and spoken;

•    High analytical skills
