Jr. Accountant

BYD is looking for
Junior Accountant
with experience in
asset accounting
to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accurate registration, control, and reporting of fixed assets in compliance with local and corporate accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Support the
  recording, capitalization, and depreciation
  of fixed assets according to company policies and IFRS/Mexican GAAP.
• Maintain the
  fixed asset register
  and ensure accurate reconciliation with the general ledger.
• Assist in
  physical asset verification
  and coordinate periodic inventories with operations teams.
• Prepare reports and analyses related to
  asset movements, additions, retirements, and transfers
  .
• Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, operations, and tax) to ensure proper asset classification and documentation.
• Participate in
  month-end closing activities
  , journal entries, and balance reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to fixed assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
  in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience
  in general accounting, preferably with exposure to
  fixed assets management
  .
• Knowledge of
  IFRS, NIF, and asset depreciation standards
  .
• Experience using
  SAP
• Fluent
  English
  is a must
• Proficient in
  Microsoft Excel
  (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
