About The Role
Reckitt is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Buyer who will take charge of our factory procurement with precision and passion. In this strategic role, you'll be the cornerstone of shaping cost-effective sourcing strategies and nurturing supplier relationships that are as robust as our products. Location: Mexico City, Tlalpan.
Your responsibilities

• Strong negotiation skills coupled with sharp analytical abilities and the confidence to lead.
• Exceptional project management skills, capable of juggling various tasks and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• An eye for detail, a strategic approach, and a knack for solving problems effectively.
• Proficiency in vendor and contract negotiations.
• Interaction with international buyers globally (US, Europe, India, China).
• Global procurement structure with global standards.
• Role involving activities to execute and adapt locally → regionally → globally.
• Contract and bidding management (construction, maintenance, engineering projects).

The experience we're looking for

• A solid track record of success in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with sharp analytical abilities and the confidence to lead.
• Clear communication skills, making it easy for you to connect with others and articulate ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in supply chain management, including logistics and distribution, and experience in vendor and contract negotiations.
• Experience in both direct (manufacturing materials, raw materials, packaging, and all the stages related to finished products) and indirect (services, consumables, CAPEX projects, engineering, maintenance, everything not related to finished products) within the pharma or consumer industries.
• Proficient in SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office suite.
• English (Intermediate – Advanced).
• Process-oriented, ensuring daily implementation of necessary guidelines to maintain best practices and establishing procedures.
