Descripción
This role leads the strategic planning and execution of initiatives aimed at improving production planning processes. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing budgets and timelines, allocating resources, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. Operating within a matrixed organization, the role serves as the primary program owner, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Oversight of project-specific team members is also part of the scope.

Responsabilidades
Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and enhance production planning processes across Wafer Probe, Wafer Level CSP, SMT, and Die Attach, with a focus on automation and system integration (SAP, Camstar, Power BI).
  • Optimize SAP transactions related to production and engineering orders to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop algorithms for material validation and reservation to prevent over-consumption.
  • Ensure full MRP execution while meeting key business goals such as resource utilization and cost absorption.
  • Guarantee 100% on-time offshore shipments from Mexicali-processed products.
  • Design, implement, and manage advanced planning systems using linear programming techniques.
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards for real-time production planning insights and metric monitoring.
  • Lead and coordinate internal process improvement initiatives across planning functions.
  • Drive corporate-led transformation projects related to production planning in Mexicali.
  • Analyze short-term MPS and demand signals to assess feasibility across supply, product ramps, mix, WIP, setup optimization, and cycle time.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for resolving complex planning-related issues.

Experiencia y Habilidades Requeridas
Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, data science, or a related discipline; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor operations, supply chain, or planning, including 5+ years in project/program management within a matrixed environment.
  • Strong expertise in backend semiconductor processes (Wafer Ops, Assembly, Test).
  • Proven success in leading process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP and planning tools (Kinaxis, SAP, Camstar); Power BI development is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions.
