How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supplier quality management as part of the Global Supplier Quality Department. You will work closely with operation, engineering and procurement to ensure supplier good and consistent performance as well as PDP & PTP projects launch successfully. This role will be based in Mexico.

You Will Make an Impact By:

1. Solve material quality issues timely and work with process engineer& design engineer for the specification and drawing improvement

2. Carry out suppliers' quality system & process audit and assessment and drive for effective improvement actions.

3. Setup supplier quality performance metrics and take effective actions to eliminate the gap.

4. Work with RD & supplier to implement new technology and processes per ANDREW requirement.

5. Supplier FAI/PPAP review during qualification process for new parts/new process/new tool, etc.

6. Lead supplier side DMAIC/KAIZEN projects for quality continuous improvement.

7. Lead and engage supplier side cost reduction projects regarding raw material and process change

from quality function.

expectations (Internal & external)

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field with 8 years'+ experience in manufacturing industry

2. Strong knowledge of quality management, familiarity with ISO9000/TL9000/TS16949 Quality Systems

3. Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

4. Good command of written and spoken English.

5. Skilled knowledge of basic and advanced Quality tools, such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, DOE, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis(8D), Poke Yoke (Error proof), and QC 7 tools etc.

6. Familiar with a wide range of reliability, environmental, and qualification programs.

7. Assertiveness and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

8. Excellent decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential.

9. PCBA & SMT, electric parts, passive device and related products working experience is strongly desirous, electric part failure model analysis capability is plus.

10. Need additional know-how for Plastics, Sheet metal , casting , coating and painting will be added advantage.

11. Expertise in tooling and process development, proactive prevention plan.

12. Frequency travel both domestic and oversea.

• Green belt or Black belt certification is a strong plus
• Radio Frequency (RF) field working experience is prefer
• Expertise in MS excel, SAP QM module, Power BI, AI integration in Quality systems
