Myunghwa Mexico is seeking a bilingual Planner Buyer to join our Production Control / Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for analytical professionals who thrive on balancing material planning and purchasing execution to ensure uninterrupted production.

As a Planner Buyer, you will play a critical role in aligning demand, inventory, and supplier performance. If you enjoy working with data, anticipating risks, and making operational decisions that directly impact manufacturing efficiency, this opportunity is for you.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to determine purchasing needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure timely availability of direct and indirect materials to support production schedules.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders based on demand signals and forecast changes.
  • Monitor inventory trends, safety stock, and supplier lead times to prevent shortages.
  • Partner closely with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure operational continuity.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve potential delays.
  • Support supplier development initiatives and identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Assist with import/export coordination when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning and replenishment processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in material planning, production control, supply chain, purchasing, or manufacturing.
  • Professional English proficiency (intermediate–advanced) to collaborate with global suppliers.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
