Sr. Production Planner 1 is responsible for the develop of production plans based on the Master Production Schedule that provide a clear vision of the targets and priorities to ensure the satisfaction of the demand while monitor and follows up the accomplishment of them. The Sr. Production Planner 1 communicates risk and required changes to production plans in order to make sure the shortfalls are recovered based on the stablished commitments to Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities
Develop production plans based on MPS

Monitor and follow up of production plans thru the line

Decision making on required changes to production plans in coordination with operations

Communicate risks/impacts of production plans

Coordinate recover plans when needed.

Provide projections of estimated completion dates and quantities for escalated part numbers

Interact upstream/downstream with other operations of the processThe selected candidate should demonstrate proven experience in materials and/or operations planning and scheduling and previous experience working on lean manufacturing environment.

Skills/Abilities
Proven knowledge of planning and manufacturing processes

Analytical and problem-solving skills

SAP and Camstar systems knowledge are desired

Root Cause Analysis

Problem solving

Proficient MS Office

Advance Planning System experience is a plus

Education
Industrial, Mechatronics, Systems or related engineering degree is required

Proficient in English

Programing languages is a plus
