Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Tijuana.

Reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, the Supplier Quality Engineer's role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

  • Evaluate, select, and qualify suppliers in alignment with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct ISO 13485:2016 audits and ensure supplier compliance, particularly in the medical device or electronics industry.
  • Implement and monitor process controls, CAPA's activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to validate processes, resolve non-conformances, and support risk assessments.
  • Interpret technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supplier development and performance tracking.
  • Performs supplier Quality System audits.
  • Experience in medical devices industry (desirable).

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Advanced English
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in supplier quality, with a focus on the medical device or electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 standards and audit practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Skills in problem-solving techniques and CAPA methodologies.
