The Security Associate serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees entering the Tijuana office. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing front desk operations, administering security protocol, monitoring CCTV, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily office operations

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome all visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure that all visitors are escorted through the office.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area that reflects the company's brand.
  • Manage the visitor log, issue badges, and ensure all guests are properly signed in and escorted when required.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, including verifying authorized pickups.
  •  Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain daily visitor and incident reports.
  • Schedule and manage meeting room reservations and calendars.
  • Assign lockers to employees.
  • Assist in coordinating emergency drills and maintaining contact lists for safety notifications.
  • o Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor badges, and ensure adherence to security procedures.
  • o Follow and enforce company policies for workplace safety and confidentiality.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals access the building. o
  • Verify employee and visitor identification and enforce company access policies.
  • oMaintain awareness of security camera systems and report any suspicious activity to management or contracted security personnel.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of lobby and surrounding areas to ensure safety and order.
  • Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies, following established safety protocols. o Lock and unlock entry points as scheduled and report any mechanical or access control issues.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in front desk, receptionist, guest relations, or administrative support roles (preferably in a corporate or professional services environment).
  • Prior experience working in security-sensitive or compliance-driven environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with calendar/meeting room management tools.
  • Experience with phone systems, visitor management software, or security badge systems preferred.
  • Comfortable learning and using office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Professional proficiency in English (highly preferred, given client and visitor interactions).
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Team-oriented but able to work independently with minimal supervision.
