In one sentence
Responsible for development, modification, debugging and/or maintenance of OMS software systems. Works on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deals with sophisticated assignments during the software development process.

What will your job look like?

  • Manage the process from initial planning, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Track progress against milestones, and ensure production changes are delivered on time and with best quality
  • Provide technical direction, ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles.
  • Conduct reviews of changes going into releases, identify potential issues, and promote quality as part of production readiness
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize resolution
  • Communicate ongoing status updates to customers on the daily stand up calls and able to manage escalations effectively
  • Strategic planning and process improvement
  • Implement best practices in Production methodologies, drive continuous improvement in daily practices, and align team objectives

All you need is...

  • Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
  • 8+ years' experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Support Engineer.
  • 6+ years experience JAVA development
  • Advanced SQL - able to work with complex queries
  • Unix/Linux
  • Advanced Scripting - Shell, bash,etc.
