Position Overview:
The Air Conditioning Product Manager is accountable for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of air conditioning products — from initial market research and product definition to development, launch, and post-launch optimization. This position demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market behavior, and the ability to work collaboratively with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to maintain the brand's competitive advantage within the home appliance industry.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis & Consumer Insights
- Conduct extensive research on market dynamics, competitors, and customer needs to identify opportunities and guide product direction.
- Gather, interpret, and present market data and consumer feedback to support product enhancements and future development plans.
2. Product Strategy & Development
- Define key product attributes, specifications, and positioning strategies based on market insights and company objectives.
- Partner with R&D to ensure the development of high-quality products that meet performance, design, and cost targets.
- Oversee the full product development process, including documentation, roadmap planning, and progress tracking throughout each stage.
3. Launch Planning & Marketing Execution
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies, coordinating with Marketing, Sales, and Distribution teams to ensure successful product introductions.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to craft promotional campaigns and communication materials that strengthen brand presence and drive sales.
4. Product Lifecycle & Performance Optimization
- Monitor and assess product performance using data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage product pricing, channel distribution, and promotional activities in line with market conditions and business goals.
- Collaborate with After-Sales and Technical Support to address quality issues and continuously improve user experience.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead coordination between key departments — R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing — to ensure smooth project execution.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate efficient communication and ensure successful market rollouts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Management within the home appliances or HVAC sector; direct experience with air conditioning products is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to operate effectively in multinational business environments.
- Solid understanding of product development cycles, project management principles, and cross-department collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Innovative mindset with strategic foresight to anticipate market shifts and adapt product portfolios accordingly.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines.
