Senior Accountant
to join our growing team in Mexico City. In this key role, you will ensure financial accuracy, provide strategic insights, and support scalable growth through effective accounting practices. Your expertise will help optimize systems and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and support month-end/year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with
    US GAAP
    .
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance expense management and financial reporting transparency.

Technical Excellence

  • Manage the general ledger in
    QuickBooks
    , including:
  • Journal entries
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Expense categorization
  • Revenue recognition
  • Lead process improvements and implement tech-driven accounting solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • STRONG EXCEL SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Minimum of
    3 years of progressive accounting experience
    , ideally in the
    lending or financial services industry
    .
  • Proficient in accounting platforms such as
    QuickBooks
    ,
    Xero
    , or similar.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
