Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee specialized or general accounting operations of a team of qualified Professionals and Coordinators, for an assigned organizational unit.
- Oversee adherence to accounting standards, processes and formats.
- Oversee and assign business activities, receipts and bills to the corresponding Intercompanies accounts.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of routine accounting activities and processes.
- Complete regular - monthly, quarterly, and yearly - closings and reports, for all stakeholders.
- Ensure timely payments to intercompany suppliers and collections from intercompany clients
- Supervise the preparation of bank reconciliations for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Supervise account statement reconciliations with intercompany vendors/clients.
- Review and monitor AP and AR aging, ensuring efficient account management.
- Ensure correct execution of controls and application of policies and procedures, proposing improvements to minimize risks and enhance efficiency.
- Follow up on KPIs and oversee F110 payment proposal preparation.
- Supervise daily posting of deposits to intercompany client accounts, ensuring proper application to outstanding invoices and offsets.
- Support employees in solving problems promptly and effectively
Your Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3 to 5 years
- Proven experience in intercompany accounting, accounts payable, or related financial operations, including leadership or supervisor roles
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems SAP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
