Intercompany Team Leader

Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee specialized or general accounting operations of a team of qualified Professionals and Coordinators, for an assigned organizational unit.
• Oversee adherence to accounting standards, processes and formats.
• Oversee and assign business activities, receipts and bills to the corresponding Intercompanies accounts.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of routine accounting activities and processes.
• Complete regular - monthly, quarterly, and yearly - closings and reports, for all stakeholders.
• Ensure timely payments to intercompany suppliers and collections from intercompany clients
• Supervise the preparation of bank reconciliations for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Supervise account statement reconciliations with intercompany vendors/clients.
• Review and monitor AP and AR aging, ensuring efficient account management.
• Ensure correct execution of controls and application of policies and procedures, proposing improvements to minimize risks and enhance efficiency.
• Follow up on KPIs and oversee F110 payment proposal preparation.
• Supervise daily posting of deposits to intercompany client accounts, ensuring proper application to outstanding invoices and offsets.
• Support employees in solving problems promptly and effectively

Your Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3 to 5 years
• Proven experience in intercompany accounting, accounts payable, or related financial operations, including leadership or supervisor roles
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems SAP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
