The Electronic Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for electronic products and assemblies. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and compliance with technical standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshooting production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies and components.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and production standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability of electronic products.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing process flows, tooling, and test procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, process, and quality issues on the production floor.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Experiencia y requisitos

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB assembly, soldering, and electronic testing.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (8D).
  • Skilled in using CAD tools, process monitoring systems, and data analysis software.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
