Job Title:

Senior Backend Engineer – Java/Python, Cloud & Microservices

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and help build enterprise-grade applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Python, as well as hands-on experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
  • Implement microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and optimize caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached, Hazelcast).
  • Develop and deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Integrate messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Analysts in agile ceremonies.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Communicate technical solutions and risks effectively to stakeholders.
  • Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to enhance productivity.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and JIRA.
  • Basic understanding of Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude) and frameworks like LangChain.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI agent frameworks and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Knowledge of enterprise-grade application design.

Performance Expectations:

  • Minimum 3–5 meaningful commits per day (50–100 per month).
  • Minimum 10 story points per sprint.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60, $85,000.00 per month
