We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior Programme Manager to lead a portfolio of business-critical IT programmes based in Mexico City. This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing complex, high-impact initiatives that support strategic objectives across the organisation. You will act as the primary point of escalation for major programme issues and play a key role in bridging communication between local leadership and senior stakeholders at our Head Office in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and govern multiple large-scale, business-critical IT programmes from initiation through to delivery.

Act as the single point of escalation for all major risks, issues, and dependencies across projects, ensuring timely resolution.

Provide strong programme leadership, setting clear direction and standards for delivery teams.

Collaborate closely with local senior management to align programme outcomes with regional business priorities.

Communicate programme status, risks, and progress clearly and effectively to senior leadership in Ireland.

Drive best practice programme management methodologies and continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Champion change management and support business adoption of new systems and processes.

Key Requirements

10+ years' experience in Programme Management and senior leadership roles, ideally within complex IT environments.

Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, cross-functional programmes.

Recognised Programme / Project Management certifications (e.g. PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe) are desirable.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capabilities at executive level.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and strategic thinking capability.

Ability to operate effectively within a global, matrix organisation.
