We are looking for an AIR TRANSPORT MANAGER with a global vision, strategic thinking skills, and complete mastery of the international air transport industry.

Your mission:

  • Elevate, structure, and accelerate the air transport business for Mexico and Latin America.
  • Design competitive pricing.

What are we looking for in you?

  • 5+ years of experience in the international air freight transport sector
  • 2+ years of experience in products, sales, or operations on Mexican or Latin American (LATAM) routes
  • A master's degree in pricing, routes, capacity, and airline negotiations
  • Leadership, strategic vision, and focus on profitability
  • Advanced English proficiency (essential)

Main responsibilities of the position:

  1. Create a knowledge system.

  2. Classify and develop the Mexican air transport product manual, sales toolkit, and standard quotation template.

  3. Establish a comparative database of the advantages of the new NLU airport and MIA/LAX/PAN transit to create differentiated selling points.

  4. Regularly organize internal training courses and case reviews to ensure the sales team masters the logic of air transport sales.

  5. Product Strategy Support:

  6. Develop a pricing system and route promotion plan for air cargo transport in Mexico.

  7. Develop air transport resources from China to Mexico and from Mexico to various countries in the Americas.

  8. Provide regular updates on freight rates, transport capacity, and policy changes to support sales.

  9. Sales Empowerment and Collaboration

  10. Work with the collaborative marketing team to design programs for key customers and conduct commercial negotiations.

  11. Help establish a customer rating model and exit strategies for repeat purchases and cross-selling.

  12. Coordination of delivery operations.

  13. Coordinate flight routes, ground operations, customs matters, and overseas agents to ensure timely, compliant, and low-cost delivery.

  14. Management of exceptions and claims.

  15. Revenue and cost management.

  16. Continuous revenue and cost forecasting, timely adjustment of pricing strategies, ensuring that the gross profit margin of product lines does not fall below the company's benchmark.

Professional skills

  • Familiarity with international air transport fare structures, route resources, cabin procurement, and ground operations processes.
  • Understanding of the operation of the new NLU airport in Mexico and the advantages of the connection with MIA/LAX/PAN.
  • Ability to calculate route costs and create quotation models.
  • Good relationships with various airlines are a plus.
