Salary Range:

Payroll: (28,000 MXN - 35,000 MXN)

Direct: (35,000 MXN - 44,000 MXN)

About the Organization

We are recruiting on behalf of a financial advisory and accounting firm supporting nonprofits, NGOs, and mission-driven organizations. We partner with leadership teams to strengthen financial sustainability, improve resource allocation, and ensure responsible use of donor and grant funding.

Role Overview

The FP&A Advisor will act as a fractional finance partner for a portfolio of nonprofit organizations. This is a client-facing role focused on budgeting, forecasting, grant tracking, cash flow planning, and financial reporting to support mission-aligned decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial review meetings with nonprofit leadership and boards
  • Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario models for programs and grants
  • Track restricted vs. unrestricted funds and grant utilization
  • Analyze financial performance by program, donor, or department
  • Develop cash flow forecasts to support sustainability and liquidity
  • Create clear dashboards and reports for management and donor reporting
  • Collaborate with accounting and compliance teams to ensure accurate financial insight

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years in FP&A, nonprofit finance, government or advisory roles
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Anaplan, Pigment, Excel, and Power BI (or similar tools)
