Avertium is seeking a Data Analyst Intern eager to learn and impact our CyberSecurity Organization. The ideal candidate will have applicable course work, and experience with Python and machine learning are ideal. Responsibilities:
  • Data Collaboration: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity.
  • Model Development: Support the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms aimed at improving security event detection.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct EDA to help identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform security decisions.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Help prepare data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Research & Improvement: Explore the latest techniques and tools in data science to contribute ideas for improving existing processes.
  • Data-Driven Solutions: Assist in the development of data-driven solutions to address business challenges and enhance security posture.
  • Collaboration on Reporting: Work with the team to produce analyses that support critical decision-making reports.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in data visualization tools; familiarity with Python is a plus.
