As a PROFESSIONAL SERVICES & IT SOFTWARE & IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES, you will assist with the management of spend including negotiating agreements that optimize the total value for PPG in compliance with established purchasing policies. He/She will be responsible for overseeing spend, projects, managing supplier relationships, conducting RFPs, leading the selection of suppliers, assisting with strategy development/ implementation and monitoring compliance within their assigned set of categories.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build relationships with Functional and Business Stakeholders to work on regional and global sourcing initiatives
- Proactively identify and initiate cost optimization projects
- Utilize various purchasing electronic tools including spend management software to submit RFXs, conduct auctions, and manage contracts
- Drive supplier performance through service level agreements
- Participate in preparing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies
- Fully comply with the company’s purchasing policies
- Develop communication reviews with leadership, reviewing critical suppliers, upcoming projects, and an understanding of the forward business needs

**Qualifications**
- Travel is less than 25% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree, relevant procurement qualifications or direct work experience in the field
- Minimum 1 year of strategic sourcing experience
- Proficiency with establishing contracts, monitoring performance and issue resolution
- Proactive, hands-on and results oriented. Embraces getting the job done
- Proficient in English
- Travel is less than 25% of the time.
