What you'll do:
LTE Field Ops Technician: Supervises LTE tech support or contractor team in the field, regarding CW and provide feedback for improvements and acceptance according to our “Manual de Instalaciones“ MDI standard. Provides training for different equipment used in LTE installations eNb radio, satellite modem and antenna installation, solar panels, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Verify that the installation is made with the quality expected through reports revisions and report to the Manager any deviation from the installation standard that puts the service at risk or that may affect it.

The day-to-day:

- Supervise the contractors using IT facilities like WhatsApp, Zoom
- Support internal teams with satellite troubleshooting in CDMX office
- Support using the following platforms/tools: eSVT, Slack, Magma, BTS Site Manager.
- Internal/local IT support (tier 1)
- Emergency visits to sites for troubleshooting purposes
- Support field operations process implementation
- Create installation guidelines and provide mentoring to contractors regarding them

What you'll need:

- 2+ years’ experience in field operations, related areas in Telecommunication Industry
- Experience in Network & Infrastructure Deployment, maintenance, and operation.
- Experience providing support field crews
- Basic level experience with Microsoft Office
- Residency in the city of Mexico City
- Ability to travel throughout the country of Mexico.
- The ability to travel 70% of the time, documenting travel, work performed and remitting paperwork pertaining to travel in a timely manner
