As a Software Engineer, your role will focus on creating and supporting essential web services that provide core functionality for the financial ecosystem. This involves considering both functional and non-functional requirements, as well as collaborating with other teams to evolve these services in line with our technological vision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop software to achieve business and team goals.
- Understand thoroughly the underlying problem when facing a challenge.
- Conceive and implement effective solutions to the problems presented.
- Continuously refine your knowledge in technologies, processes, and best practices defined by the team.
- Generate relevant documentation.
- Troubleshoot and manage incidents.
- Collaborate in prioritizing errors and issues that arise.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Participate in pair programming with colleagues when necessary.
- Oversee the systems and services under the team's responsibility.

**Requirements**:

- Have at least 3 years of progressive experience in software engineering.
- Possess a strong technical background in programming.
- Understand the elements that make up quality code.
- Understand software design patterns.
- Have fundamentals in relational databases.
- Experience with at least one database engine.
- Knowledge in integration, design, and construction of APIs.
- Understand the implementation of software products in production environments.
- Ability to translate requirements into functional software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the incorporation of non-functional requirements into solution delivery.
- Experience in various types of testing and their relevance in the SDLC.
- Experience in microservices architecture.
- Experience in integration, design, and construction of APIs.
- Experience with Ruby.
- Experience with AWS.
