**Job Title**
Classification & Regulations Manager

**Position Purpose**

**Primary Accountabilities**
- Responsible to identify and assure the obtaining of permits and management, to ensure the legal import and marketing of products in stores in Mexico, e.g. TRADEMARK letters, NOMs & USMCA Certificates, etc.
- Work directly with the Vendors and the Category Managers team to obtain all the documents necessary to accomplish with all Regulations necessary to exhibit, sale and marketing all SKUs in our stores
- Activate the process of classification of samples of new items, with customs agents to reconcile the possible different opinions and avoid discrepancies in the classification criteria. According to US and MX Tariff criteria.
- Feeding the systems as Main frame and some others in International Trade, like Spanish description, for Sku, as well as mainframe information (description in Spanish, fraction, weight unit, country of origin) and confirm when the process ended respective CM.
- Maintenance the Data Base for all permit and regulations for SKUs actives as well as new, to avoid disruption on the import or purchase process, that guarantee the success of the Sales programs
- Monitoring the customs brokers performance in the use of the DB, identifying any kind of discrepancy between Data Base, Develop and report performance and KPI
- Responsible to identify and assure the obtaining of permits and management, to ensure the legal import and marketing of products in stores in Mexico, e.g. TRADEMARK letters, ANCE Certificates, etc.

**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: International Business Bachelor
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: Extensive experience in Import/Export Harmonized Code, Known of Customs compliance, and Regulations. NOMs Certifications, working with Retailers company and some other agents or companies that process or manage permits.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Knowledge of the Harmonized Codes and LIGIE (Ley de Impuesto General de Importación y Exportación) MX & US NOMS and customs Regulations
Other/Preferred: Fluent Spanish and English, Excel proficient, and manage of Data base
