As a Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to create a culture of EHSS excellence driven by associate and visitor engagement. You will make an impact by:
- Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.- Participating in special programs related to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security.- Reviewing the proper functioning of Industrial Safety and Security, systems such as fire alarm, emergency lamps, fire extinguishers, hydrants, emergency exits, smoke detectors, security cameras, among others.- Checking that contractors and visitors have the necessary permits, whether migratory or special depending on the case, that they carry their personal protection equipment, if necessary.- Inspecting import and export units according to CTPAT and AED minimum security criteria.- Detecting security risks during security tours and report irregularities found inside and outside the building.- Providing support in contingencies and investigations of incidents within the site.- Following the goals and objectives supporting Key Performance Indicators.- Performing other duties as required.- Monitoring Center Officer additional accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and operating CCTV, access controls and key cabinets of the site.- Monitoring and keeping available information of the import and export activities through GPS.- Receiving, monitoring and executing the actions required, according to the procedures, of detected incidents.- Monitoring the transportation and safety program of visits, customers and suppliers of Integer.- Developing newsletters with relevant news and last-minute alerts for associates.- Compiling of security reports and statistics.- Providing support, according to established procedures, to the Plant Leadership Team.- Providing the required support according to the procedures established in the emergency plans and contingency plans of the company.
- Champions EHSS Excellence_- Promotes associate safety engagement by encouraging submittal of observations and suggestions; and reporting near-miss incidents.- Supports site associates on EHSS goals and assignments related to associate safety, environmental protection or process safety.- Contributes on the investigation and assessment of incidents to determine root cause.- Participates on EHSS teams, Emergency Response Team (ERT) or other cross-functional EHSS project teams at the facility.- Ensures a work environment exists which is safe and environmentally friendly, as well as promotion of Behavior Based Safety (BBS) programs and principles.
