ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and SOP’s as defined by Nordson’s polices insuring that FDA and Quality Standards are met.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Stage work orders in accordance to production schedule and attend to clean rooms in an efficient manner.
- Store and package materials and products as guided to ensure accuracy and prevent damage and contamination and facilitate effective custodianship of inventory.
- Ensure all warehouse material transactions are performed accurately and timely.
- Properly identify all raw material that has been receipt.
- Receive all DHR’s from shop orders to be closed and allocate the material in a warehouse location.
- Identify the material that is to be shipped against a previously sent checklist. The lot number, PO number, quantity and boxes are to be identified against the checklist.
- Advise if there is any discrepancy in the provided information to the planning department.
- Process checklist by processing the shipment in the ERP system to get the packing slip and invoice.
- Palletize (if needed) the material to be shipped and deliver the pallets to the carrier.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of Warehouse area.
- Track material consumption and advise Warehouse Supervisor when high material consumption is detected.
- Participate in cycle count and year-end physical inventory activities.
- Every employee have to work following Nordson’s safety manual guidelines at all times and is expected to have good manners to assure the highest level of working environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
- 1+ year related experience (desiderable)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA’s):
- Ability to write and comprehend instructions and short correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to make standard arithmetical computations with accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of storekeeping and warehousing methods and procedures, including physical inventory and record keeping practices.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficient with label form entry.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is highly recommended.
- Ability to develop an understanding and practice of Nordson values and competencies
