Data Governance Analyst

Location: Guadalajara SSC, Mexico

Reports to: P2P Data Governance Leader

The Data Governance Analyst is responsible to collect and validate vendor information and documentation for the onboarding process according to internal and external guidelines for Latin America’s procurement team, as well as Vendor and material master maintenance for the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

Core Responsibilities:

- Execute Vendor onboarding process and material master maintenance.
- Ensure supplier onboarding audit compliance, adhering to local and foreign regulation.
- Do MRBR analyses (Brazil/Colombia).
- Maintain constant communication with P2P teams to resolve issues, risks, and dependencies related to vendor/material master.
- Liaise with buyers located in Guadalajara supporting LATAM Procurement to share best practices, identify process opportunities, and share resources.
- Support vendor’s onboarding of Ingredion as customer.
- Requirements:_
- Portuguese (written and spoken) is a must. English is highly desired.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline.
- 2 years of procure to pay process experience is ideal.
- General knowledge and understanding of procurement practices, policies, procedures.
- Sound knowledge of SAP FI/MM modules is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Power BI platform is desirable.
- Ability to work against and meet deadlines from multiple stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.
- Sound knowledge of Lotus Notes (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work in a team environment, building consensus and fostering positive relationships with internal clients and external vendors.
- Experience with SOX, ISO, EHS, FSC22000 & BASC requirements in a food manufacturing & supplier audit is also a great plus to have.
