**The role**

Responsible for ensuring the efficiency, operational continuity, and optimization of plastic injection systems used in the production of medical devices.

Manages and drives the continuous improvement of plastic injection processes, as well as the preventive and corrective maintenance of EOATs. Also responsible for implementing solutions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

**How you’ll make an impact**
- Manages the molding process team.
- Oversees the preventive and corrective maintenance of all EOATs in the plant.
- Supervises and optimizes plastic injection processes, aiming for maximum efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborates with the projects and production teams to implement new methods and technologies in plastic injection.
- Ensures that machines and equipment operate efficiently, minimizing downtime and unexpected failures.

**What do you bring**
- Degree in Plastics, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Functional Technical English.
- Knowledge of systematic and scientific molding.
- Knowledge of engineering resins (processing).
- Experience operating plastic injection molding machines and peripheral equipment.
- Knowledge of valve gates and core systems.
- Experience in validation of new molds.
- RJG Edart system knowledge is desirable.
- Over 10 years of experience in plastic injection molding.
- SAP knowledge (Maintenance Module) is desirable.
- Proficiency in software tools (MS Project, Word).
- Desirable: experience with Minitab, Microsoft Project or similar, SolidWorks or similar.
- Knowledge of ERP software (SAP), specifically the maintenance module.
- Desirable: experience with preventive and corrective maintenance management software.
- Desirable: knowledge of engineering change management.
