**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Senior Operations Manager** to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain. The **Senior Operations Manager **is responsible for overseeing the activities of a complex, international team of teams that is rapidly growing. In this role, this individual will manage day to day operations while ensuring the organization meets strategic people and process development goals.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing all activities of the Shipper Solutions Operations Team including carrier sourcing, truck dispatch, track and trace, on time delivery, and team schedule adherence
- Manages all aspects of the dispatching process, including hiring, training, scheduling, monitoring performance, and responding to customer or carrier escalations
- Works with the Director of Operations to review and analyze dispatch team performance
- Partners with the Senior Product Manager and Development Team to ensure continuous technology improvement and help guide product strategy with tactical level feedback
- Monitors and promotes safety and compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations in all areas of the operation
- Develops and implements department policies to ensure all staff members are trained
- Trains and supervise employees who answer and place calls
- Analyzes call data to identify problem areas that may require additional staff training or equipment upgrades
- Maintaining records of calls to track response times and improve service quality

**Requirements**:

- International travel up to 80%; office location is Monterrey, Mexico with some travel to Denver, CO
- Strong leadership qualities: Previous management experience required
- Experience in the transportation industry: prior Freight Brokerage experience a major plus
- High aptitude for process design, improvement and implementation
- Understanding of and ability to utilize the KPIs associated with brokerage operations
- The ability to multi-task in a fast past environment while being detail oriented
- Skilled in Technology; Microsoft Word & Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Spanish speaking strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
