Npi Technician

Descripción y detalle de las actividades NPI Technician works directly in the workstations of the Mexicali Advanced Energy manufacturing facility, operating Production equipment and focused on the New Product Introduction field, collecting and providing data for analysis and improvement of the NPI process and for the developing of manufacturing documentation such as software and hard paper printed documentation when required. Participates in the tooling procurement (ideas, concept design, design and fabrication (in some cases)) for new products and in their direct assembly at the plant’s production resources. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assembles raw material parts as part of the NPI assembly process. - Develops machine assembly software programs and profiles. - Develops and maintains process documentation such as process flow, components preparation code’s visual aids, assembly visual aids and additional process useful documentation. - Collects process data such as assembly pictures / video, cycle times, headcount and pass/reject quantities. - Production flow analysis and corrective action execution collaborate. - Electro-mechanical design of tools, using any software (SolidWorks preferred). - Collaborates in the tooling procurement and fabricates low profile tools for quick checks. - Utilizes low and high profile electrical / electronic equipment or machinery to measure / test products. - Provides preventive and corrective maintenance to machinery and tools. - Provides basic / low profile or simple training to operators about the use of machines, tools or raw material parts assembly. Experiência y requisitos SKILLS: - Experience in test equipment (Electric / Electronic digital multimeter, oscilloscope, torque-meter, pressure and flow transducers, compressed air connections, MicroSoft Office (power-point, Word and Excel, minimum) - Use of mechanical measurement tools such as measurement tape, caliper, filler gauges and angle protractor. - Specific skills: SolidWorks (preferred) - Personal characteristics: o Proactive o Teamwork o Integrity o Continuous Improvement mind-set. - Certifications: N/A - Licenses: Driving. (USA visa and passport desirable) EXPERIENCE: Essential: - Knowledge of English (> 70%). Desirable: - MINITAB Desirable EDUCATION: Essential: - Bachelor’s degree or unfinished career (manufacturing engineer, electronic engineering, mechanical engineer) - 1+ years experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
