**Insurance Products Manager**

**Role Purpose**

Support the strategy for insurance products (governance, commercial initiatives, sales quality and post-sale services) for an on and off shelf products that meet customer´s needs while complying with local and global governance procedures and requirements. To do this, the jobholder will need to participate in the development, articulation and execution of new initiatives behind new products developments as well as enhancements to current products with new features or processes. Engagement with key roles and management is required for a full and complete implementation as part of the role.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Oversee existing portfolio with product enhancement, product closure or launch of replacement products by providing direction and guidance to the product operational process team
- Drive major new product initiatives, for new product areas or segments
- Propose and agree with stakeholders the Insurance propositions, and manage the development of products and business strategy for Insurance center based on customer needs to help achieve business targets
- Deliver products that meet the core needs within HBMX propositions customer needs
- Review and analyse current business performance, markets, and competitors
- Proactive monitor market development, obtain market intelligence and identify potential business risk/ opportunities to management with appropriate strategy

**Requirements**:
**Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferably on administrative or economic areas.
- Experience on Insurance /bank product development, strategy and proposition
- Strong English and Spanish skills.
- Project management skills
- Decision driven
- Experience of building effective networks both internally and externally and creating opportunities for others to work collaboratively. (Team player)
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
