Project Quality Engineer

**Tasks**:
Core Responsibilities:

- Verify that the development activities are performed as planned;
- Estimate and Control that process and product quality risk during the project development phase;
- Responsible for performing the system release QA audit and Software release QA audit. And provide the respective recommendations for the releases;
- Define the quality assurance measures in a project. Monitor if the planned quality measures are performed in the project and continue to improve the weaknesses;
- Support the project team regarding quality assurance activities as an IPT member. Escalate the quality issue during project development phase;
- Prepare the regular Quality Assurance Plan and report;
- Ensure that process and product deficiencies are brought to management's attention and resolved satisfactorily
- Perform, prepare and participate to internal assessments;
- Support ASPICE assessments;
- Increase the impact of Mexico Quality organization effectively to improve BU Quality initiative
- Provide other quality assurance work/tasks as assigned.
- Support in 8D/A3 creation
- Collaborate with Software Project Manager in order to ensure the best project approach;

**Qualifications**:
5+ years of experience.

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Eletronics, Informatics)
1+ years professional experience in Automotive Industry
Be able to work in distributed global team environment

Experience with quality management methods, including auditing quality assurance
PLC understanding
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in Automotive development/quality process.
Problem-solving Skills
Work in a team environment, strong initiative, self motivated and flexible.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in the use of written and spoken English, with a focus on technical topics.
Knowledge of standards (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc.)
