The Credit Maintenance Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to capture and record data on credit exposures, obligors and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to lead data quality efforts, analyze and report credit exposure, escalate deficiencies and recommend delinquent strategies in alignment with overall credit policies. **Responsibilities**: - Manage a team of Credit Operations Analysts or Specialists to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) - Utilize credit knowledge and signing authority to manage exceptions - Train and coach Credit Operations Analyst as well as provide input with regards to all training, development, and mentoring needs for assigned staff - Use knowledge about credits and its signatory authority to handle exceptions - Ensure integrity and confidentiality of customer documentation and recorded information within computerized system - Interpret procedures and policies, and utilize information to guide support staff to resolve complex issues - Serve as a backup to Senior Supervisor, escalate problems, and recommend revisions in procedures as appropriate **Qualifications**: - 0-2 years of relevant experience - Experience in similar position - Experience in personnel management preferred - Working knowledge of industry standards and practices - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
