Continuous Improvement Manager

Facilitate and lead CI strategy and capability deployment in the factory to support business imperatives through the effective deployment of CI systems, capabilities, and methodology. Achieve objective performance improvement results through capability building, coaching, and deployment of Lean Sigma and TPM tools and systems.
**JOB DUTIES**:
Facilitate the development of Site Master Plan to deliver long and short-term business objectives through system deployment and capability building focused on alignment, the elimination of waste, and 100% employee engagement.
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual deployment strategies, plans, and tactics for the site (including all 4 wall functions)
- Owns identification, facilitation, and tracking of functional cost improvement projects.
- Align CI initiatives with the Overarching Strategic Plan and CI implementation strategy
- Coach and facilitate the leadership team through the integration of CI methods and strategy
- Build capability and deploy systems to optimize value streams and work processes
- Assure integration of all ROE methodologies and effective governance to standards and master plan priorities
- Implement site loss analysis, idea generation, & promotion process.
- Ensure that objectives are passed down and understood
- Build CI teams, systems, and leaders linked to site strategy within the organization
- Link ROE work groups to prioritized business opportunities.
- Coach & train “champions” for each ROE elements
- Teach & support the teams in using problem solving & tracking tools.
- Perform regular & periodic validation of each project / initiative with each function or operating unit.
- Network with other global and organizational leaders to learn and share “Best Practices”.
- Provide guidance and alignment in support of the global ROE Agenda
- Build the capability of the key internal resources needed to deliver on critical initiatives.
- Foster key relationships with various functions
- Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root-cause analysis, project validation, etc.
- Ensure that ROE work is impacting both results, and the culture change including:
**a **. Capability building for setting, tracking and problem-solving measures
**b. **Total employee involvement
**c. **Linkages of individual and team activities to losses and the business need
- Supports the compliance and results of the objectives, goals, aspects, improvements and operational controls established in the work program for the implementation and continuous improvement of the SGA.
- Encourage the personnel in charge to take awareness and/or training on SGA issues.
- Actively participates in the 6S Program, which is a critical business objective, ensuring compliance with the program regulations and carrying out the activities that are required as Auditor, Coordinator, Leader or member of the committee.
- Actively participates in the Safety and Environmental Systems, ensuring compliance with the system requirements and carrying out the activities in which it is involved
- Performs work assignment in a safe, efficient, and ethical manner.
**Develops other activities assigned by management to support business operation **s.
- Conducted according to the guidelines of the quality policy.
- Know the quality objectives relevant to their role and actively participate in achieving them.
**MUST HAVE**:
- Certified black belt
- 7 years’ experience in continuous improvement
- **Operational excellence results oriented**:
- Experience leading large projects and timelines
- Experience leading deployment of a Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) TPM, Lean, Six-Sigma or equivalent Continuous Improvement (3 years)
- Functional or Operational Leadership Experience (3 years)
- Project Management
- Mature judgment and problem-solving ability to find root causes/solutions associated with returned and rejected products
- Bilingual English / Spanish (read, write, speak).
- Change Management (Lead Organizational Management Changes)
- Work cross-functional with other Manufacturing Sites for projects implementations
- **Manage requirements **from leaders at a high level across different teams. **Proven experience in cost reduction projects, business acumen.
