Procurement Specialist - Operational Buyer

Global Sourcing Procurement - MEXICO / LACAR

**Job Description/Summary**:

- Responsible for PR to PO process in JDE
- Check details are correctly indicated in JDE and update as needed.
- Monitor the approval of PO for JDE.
- Responsible for PO issuance to vendors and monitor until completion of required deliveries/services. Buyer to update the stakeholder/requester on the delivery schedule for the issued PO.
- Buyers to maintain the PR-to-PO Tracker and need to monitor and update on regular intervals.
- Assist vendors & stakeholders on queries and connect to AP Team for actual payment schedule when needed.
- Responsible for vendor registration process for new vendors and monitor the creation of vendor code. Will also assist if there’s a need to update vendor details in the system.
- Audit support and collaboration when requested
- May assist and handle some ad hoc requirements supporting the team.
- Responsible in supporting Procurement Operational activities for the respective assigned country.
- Backup for Operational Buyers in roles/tasks in JDE
- Request of quotation to vendors, Market evaluation and RFx lead
- Advise stakeholders on Procurement processes, policies, and general queries
- Assistance to manager in any special projects
