Immigration Declaration Drafter

**6 Month Seasonal Role**
- This is a 6 month seasonal role.
- After 6 months, you will have the opportunity to join our team as a Legal Assistant. This will be determined by your performance.
- Training will be provided for the Legal Assistant role.
- This is a remote and contract role.

**Description**
- Craft powerful declarations and cover letters for immigration cases
- Conduct interviews and translate client experiences into narratives
- Provide product/services information and resolve client issues
- Handle high amounts of incoming calls
- Draft immigration forms and manage assigned cases monthly
- Interview clients about hardships and draft detailed declarations
- Collaborate with attorneys to refine legal documents
- Maintain empathy and professionalism in client interactions

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience working in family-based immigration law or equivalent legal writing experience
- Background as a paralegal, law clerk (attorney pending bar admission), or licensed attorney
- Exceptional legal writing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English; fluency in Spanish **_required_**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and comfort with learning AI-assisted drafting tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct sensitive interviews
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment
- English fluency, able to read, write and speak with complete ease and near perfection
- Some proven customer support experience
- Strong phone administration skills and active listening capabilities

**Schedule**
- Shift days, hours and Phoenix, Arizona (USA) time zone: Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch)

**Compensation**

$20,000 - $22,000 MEX pesos per month
