Project Manager

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Guadalajara, Mexico. Our client is a global, science-led biopharmaceutical company specializing in discovering, developing, and commercializing prescription medicines. They work alongside the world's leading academic and biotech research institutions to stimulate innovation and evaluate emerging technologies. The client operates in over 100 countries, and its innovative medicines are used by millions of patients worldwide. A Project Manager leads projects from initiation to implementation within the agreed time, budget, and quality constraints. This role will have strong interactions with stakeholders, sponsors, and process owners at the executive and director levels. You must visit the USA (Wilmington, DE) when necessary and visit the office twice weekly.- Requirements:

- 7-10 years of experience in project management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced global company.
- Experience with system requirements and design.
- Experience with SAP (Concur, Viva, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of project management tools (Smartsheet is preferable).
- Understanding of data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with a mix of business and IT.
- A sense of urgency, self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- PMP certification.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, focusing on collaboration, motivation, and fostering a positive team culture.
- Ability to evaluate the project’s success and identify areas of improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions, and propose creative solutions.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and reach consensus.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end software projects to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to define project scope, objectives, and priorities.
- Develop and maintain project plans.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data analysts, quality assurance, and business analysts, to drive project execution and deliverables.
- Create a budget plan and work with team members to ensure everyone is focused.
- Create agendas, perform as a leader in project management, coordinate with other teams, understand the importance of a project plan, and understand the importance of status updates and timely delivery.
- Plan, organize, and oversee our project from start to finish, including creating timelines, managing the budget, creating communication pathways, and regularly scheduling project updates.
- Communicate with the project team and adhere to the project team’s communication pathways.
- Create and distribute meeting minutes and updates to the project team.
Will be a plus:

- Proven experience leading global and multiyear projects and having a budget of more than USD 4 M.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and organization (understanding how to build a project governance and framework from scratch).
- Be comfortable navigating uncertainty.
- Outspoken, analytical, strategic thinking.
- Expertise in traducing complex statements and requirements into specific sets of actions.
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry, macro process, and systems integration.
